Psychiatrist Specializing in Adult Psychiatry, Substance Use, and Aging
Ofir Livne, MD, MPH, is a psychiatrist with subspecialty training in adult psychiatry. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University and a Research Scientist in the Division of Translational Epidemiology at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Livne earned his MD from Tel-Aviv University and completed clinical training and residency at Tel-Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. He also completed an MPH in epidemiology at Harvard University and a NIDA-funded T32 postdoctoral research fellowship at Columbia University. His research focuses on psychiatric and substance use epidemiology across the lifecourse, with particular interest in the intersection of substance use, psychiatric disorders, and the aging population. He sees adults and older adults, and speaks Hebrew.
